This structured one-week virtual programme provides students with hands-on experience in financial analysis and exposure to various career paths in finance. Each student will analyse a different UK-listed company with familiar products or brands, such as Greggs, Nichols (Vimto), or Card Factory.
Students will learn to read financial statements, understand industry dynamics, assess profitability, and make investment recommendations. The programme culminates in student presentations of their analysis and findings.
Throughout the week, students will have daily virtual check-in calls with programme mentors and one-hour sessions with different industry professionals, providing valuable insights into various career paths in finance.
Real-world experience with LSE-listed companies, professional mentorship, and practical skill development in a supportive virtual learning environment.
This programme is delivered primarily through virtual sessions, allowing students from across the UK to participate. All sessions are conducted via video conferencing platforms, ensuring interactive and engaging learning experiences.
We're planning an optional in-person finale day at a London office for final presentations and networking. This would be on the last day of the programme and is subject to confirmation.
Details about the London office visit will be confirmed closer to the programme start date. Participation is optional and virtual presentations will still be available.
